BM inaugurates a new branch in Sharm Al Shaikh with a network of more than 620 branches
Last Monday dated 5/11/2018, Both General Khaled Fouda –South Sinai Governor- and Hossam Al-Din Abdel Wahab – BM Deputy Chairman- inaugurated Banque Misr (BM) new branch in Sharm Al Shaikh, Al Sooq Al Kadim area. The new branch is considered BM’s 24th branch in South Sinai meanwhile, the opening was attended by Tarek Ali – Head of Administrative and Engineering Affairs Sector of BM- , Dr. Fatma Al Gouly – Head of Communication Department of BM-, Ahmed Al Adly – Sinai Area General Manager- in addition to BM leaders and other general and prestigious characters.
It is worth mentioning that BM had provided the new branch with all modern equipments to be a unique added value to BM branch network that reaches 620 branches spread all over Egypt. This huge network guarantees providing a distinctive service level and save the customer’s time by finding all products and services available through BM electronic connect system.
The electronic system connects the branches so customers can deal on accounts from any branch all over Egypt. The branch is also provided with ATMs that allow customers to deposit, cash and change currency in addition to the other services ATMs provide
BM new branch also provide untraditional banking services. It opens from 12:00 pm until 08:00 pm to provide integrated banking services, and from 08:00 pm until 12:00 am to provide currency exchange services.
BM targets establishing more new branches in the near future to reach 875 branches by 2020 according to both CBE’s financial inclusion plan and its expansion strategy to provide all needed banking services for every citizen inside Egypt. BM is also considered the most spread in Egypt and The Middle East according to The Union of Arab Banks.
