In the presence of Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, chairman of Banque
Misr and Dr. Sherif Sedky, the executive president of Zewail City of
Science and Technology, student services building at Zewail city of science and
technology after being furnished to operate, amid the presence of several
banking figures and prominent public figures.
The new building provides a centralized location for all strategic
studies. The building represents a real breakthrough in terms of vocational
guidance and training by navigating through the students' academic journey.
This is in addition to offering internship opportunities inside and outside
Egypt. The new establishment will serve
as a stepping stone for many students to the labor market. It will strive to
bridge education-to-employment gap. In addition, a unit inside the building will
be assigned to foster corporate partnerships and business development through
effective advising to support business community and overcome industry challenges.
The support of Banque Misr for Zewail City of Science and
Technology is based on its belief in the importance of science and education as
both of them are from the most important axes for progress and civilization of
communities. The city had contributed during the previous period with 750
international researches in the international scientific journals and with
number of 12 patents.
