Banque Misr was the first to introduce a prepaid internet card with the following advantages:

 

• Card can be used to make online purchases
• Issued at any Banque Misr branch with no need for opening a current account or presenting any financial guarantees
• Allows holder to make multiple deposits in Egyptian Pounds throughout the validity period before making any online purchases

·        Minimizes risk related to use of other credit cards on the Internet

• Transaction statement sent to client’s e-mail on a monthly basis

Gift Cards

Banque Misr was the first bank to introduce prepaid gift cards for different uses:

1-     Hekaya Gift Card (to be given to children below 16 years of age, giving them the privilege of choosing their own gift)

2-     Hayaty Gift Card (to be given to women on different occasions such as anniversaries and mother’s day)

3-     Hedeyya Gift Card (A modern gift-giving method to be used in all occasions)

Banque Misr’s gift cards have the following advantages:

·        Issued at any Banque Misr branch with no need for opening a current account

·        Deposits can be made to the card during its validity period at any Banque Misr branch

·        Allows holder to make purchases at any commercial outlet displaying the MasterCard Electronic sign

·        Cash withdrawals through Banque Misr ATMs are free of charge and through other ATMs are subject to stipulated charges

·        Balance inquiries through Banque Misr ATMs are free of charge

 

Money Transfer Cards

The money transfer card is Banque Misr’s latest financial service. These cards are issued to Egyptians working abroad, especially in the Arabian Gulf, enabling them to transfer money to their relatives in Egypt.  The cards have the following advantages:

·        Allow holder to make purchases at any commercial outlet displaying the MasterCard Electronic sign, locally and internationally

·        Cash withdrawals through Banque Misr ATMs are free of charge and through other ATMs are subject to stipulated charges

·        Balance inquiries can be made through any ATM

·        Enables holder to cash transferred amount in U.S. Dollars at some Banque Misr branches
