Car Loans are Granted to Egyptians Through the Following Finance Schemes:
- Salary/installment transfers guaranteed by the employer
- Employees who have a proof of income document
- Self employed professionals and business owners
- Individuals who participate in savings schemes
General Loan Terms
- Competitive interest rate
- Borrower must be a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum of 60 years for employees and 65 years for self employed professionals and business owners at the time of loan maturity
- Maximum loan amount: EGP 500,000
- Maximum finance rate: 100% of car value (terms and regulations apply)
- Maximum repayment period: 84 months
Required Documents
- A car loan application
- A copy of a valid National ID card
- Recent utility bill (electricity/gas/water) addressed to place of residence
For Employees:
- Salary letter
- Salary/installment transfer letter from employer
For Self Employed Professionals and Business Owners:
- Copy of tax card
- An official document from the commercial registry (in the case of business owners)
- A work permit (in the case of self employed professionals)
- Bank statement for last 6 months
Additional Benefits
- Client receives a free life insurance policy for the whole duration of the loan
- Car can be licensed to a third-party from the borrower’s family
- Loan can be granted using collateral in the form of any EGP savings funds – whether savings accounts, savings certificates, or trusts
