Banque Misr Foundation for Community Development supports the National Institute for Research on Endemic Disease and Liver to treat hepatitis C patients
A memorandum of understanding was
signed by the Banque Misr Foundation for Community Welfare with the National
Institute for Research on Endemic Disease and Liver to support treatment and
tests for patients with hepatitis C. In particular, teenagers aged between 12
and 18 years of age will be targeted, after they have received the appropriate
treatment for this age group. In April, the International Food and Drug
Administration declared that the medication Harvoni should be used to treat
hepatitis patients in this age group.
