Banque Misr launches Nationwide Cash Transfer Service via Mobile Phones

Stemming from its leading role in providing electronic services, Banque Misr (BM) has launched cash transfer service that enables clients and non-clients all over Egypt to transfer cash via mobile phones over 24 hours.


To transfer money through this service, the client has to go to any BM's branches all over Egypt and fill service application form, writing down his/her mobile number and ID. Therefore, he/she will be able to transfer money to any other number subscribed to the service (receiver/beneficiary).   


After subscribing to the service, the client/non-client chooses funds transfer function from the available functions list with any of the bank machines that provide cash deposits service.


The client/non-client will enter his/her mobile number, the receiver's number, and the sum of money to be transferred. The system will then send a four-digit pin code for both sender and receiver.

The receiver is set to directly send the code to the receiver, who would then enter the pin code and receive the transferred cash after deducting bank's commission.

The cash transfer process can also be made through a card linked to a client’s current bank account. Transfer, In this case, does not require to be done through a cash deposit machine.

 Moreover, transfer can also be made by customer service employees in the bank.

This comes within the framework of Banque Misr’s keenness on providing all that is new from modern electronic services to customers as well as other banking products and services so as to satisfy customers' needs.
