Banque Misr launches new administrative office in Fifth Settlement

Chairman of Banque Misr Mr. Mohamed Eletreby inaugurated Banque Misr's latest administrative office in the Fifth Settlement on December 6 in the presence of Vice Chairmen Mr. Akef El-Maghraby and Ms. Sahar El-Damaty, as well as a number of public figures and banking leaders.

The new administrative office is considered a link in the bank's chain of distinguished branches and administrative centers, which are accessible to customers everywhere nationwide. The new office is built in line with all the latest technological developments in the banking market to guarantee the provision of excellent services to all customers.

This comes as part of the bank's strategy to develop and restructure its branches and units and to expand its network locally and internationally. The bank launched a plan years ago to develop its branches to the highest standards, reflecting on the services provided to customers.

Furthermore, Banque Misr is committed to the principle of financial inclusion, which aims to make all financial services available to the various segments of society wherever they are. The bank inaugurated 41 new branches throughout 2017, whereby it owns the largest network of branches in Egypt and the Middle East, with over 600 branches and units that are electronically integrated to function as one unit. This is in order to facilitate transactions for customers on their accounts from any of the bank's branches nationwide. The bank moreover has a well-established foreign presence in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, France and Germany, as well as representative offices in China and Russia.

In line with the Central Bank of Egypt's policy to consolidate financial inclusion, Banque Misr aims to inaugurate an additional 275 branches in the next five years, bringing its total number of branches to about 875 branches by 2022. These branches will provide services to all segments of society, allowing the bank to be closer to customers, irrespective of their location.
