Banque Misr Supports Teacher Training Initiative​

Under the Sponsorship of the Ministry of Education

In affirmation of its corporate social responsibility role, Banque Misr signed a contract with the "Education First" institution, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, to support a project aiming to train 4,000 teachers in 721 experimental language schools across the nation.

The Education First institution is affiliated to the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and is registered as number 734 in accordance with law no. 84 of the year 2002. Over three years, the institution has worked with various different sectors, with the aim of training teachers and supporting students with distinguished achievements.

The institution aims to support public education in Egypt through building the capacities of teachers in this sector, and through supporting outstanding students in all disciplines, in addition to linking civil society organizations and the state with the aim of supporting education in Egypt.

Educational initiatives constitute one of the key pillars of Banque Misr's corporate social responsibility strategy, stemming from the belief that the experiences of developed countries have proven that the basis of their growth was and continues to be concern for education.

Furthermore, the step affirms the bank's recognition of the importance of the youth segment, and the conviction that it is cultured and educated youth who will lead the ship of progress. Banque Misr's contributions are focused on social development on several main axes, including health, education, and youth, as the core leaders of the nation's progress.

Furthermore, Banque Misr seeks to provide a good example to other institutions towards building Egypt and developing people's skills, always seeking to lead in youth initiatives towards a brighter future.
