A Gift to Egyptian Women from Banque Misr
10/03/2022
Owing to the pioneering role played by Banque Misr in Egyptian society and its constant strive to further the plight of Egyptian women, coinciding with the celebration of International Women's Day and Mother's Day this March, the Bank is pleased to exempt its female customers from all administrative charges, loan and Murabaha applications submitted during the month of March. This comes as a token of appreciation and gratitude for the hard work and effort put in by all women, seeking to leave a lasting mark in society, as well as an acknowledgement of the pivotal role played by Egyptian women in driving social development. This gift will be extended to all female customer segments; including female employees of the government sector, public and private sector, self-employed women, pension customers and holders of savings deposits at our Bank.

Worth noting is that Banque Misr offers an extensive range of personal loans, featuring various benefits and privileges; such as low interest rates, payment periods of up to 10 years and a choice of monthly or annual installments. This is in addition to holders of savings deposits being offered personal financing valued up to 90% of collateral, without a maximum cap and for payment periods of up to 10 years, plus the ability to select a convenient payment method (monthly or quarterly installments).

Also worth noting is that customers may apply for personal loans online through the BM Online application, which was launched by Banque Misr together with the new and developed internet banking service, in line with the Bank's digital transformation plan. Through mobile and internet banking, customers can access their accounts and perform financial transactions around the clock on a free-of-charge basis at reduced charges. The application also allows customers to book an appointment at the branch in order to avoid long waiting times, which saves considerable time and effort for customers.

Also through BM Online, customers can manage their credit cards, deposits and loans; as well as transfer between accounts within the Bank and to other accounts inside and outside the Bank. The service further allows customers to request or stop a cheque book / debit card and other services that provide an innovative digital banking channel to facilitate banking transactions and payments for customers throughout the day, safely and conveniently, via laptops and mobile devices.

Banque Misr consistently seeks to fulfil the needs of customers in order to actively and effectively contribute to social development. The Bank keenly updates and develops its services to maintain its longstanding success and to maintain its values and strategies that reflect a strong commitment to achieving sustainable development and prosperity for Egypt.
