Banque Misr Maintains the Returns on the Triple Certificate at 11% Without Change

Banque Misr’s Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) – in its meeting convened on Thursday, 4th February 2021 – decided to maintain the returns of all certificates and deposits in Egyptian Pounds, including the Triple Certificate, which yields a monthly return of 11% - without change. This decision comes in light of the resolution made by the Monetary Policy Committee at the Central Bank of Egypt, on Thursday, 4th February 2021, for maintaining the overnight deposit and lending rates at 8.25% and 9.25% respectively; as well as maintaining the credit and debit rate at 8.75%.
