As part of its ongoing follow-up on the proposal issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury concerning a regulatory rule that would impose a special measure relating to Banque Misr’s branches in the United Arab Emirates, and in light of the coordination and cooperation with the Central Bank of the UAE and the Central Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr’s branches in the UAE are operating normally.

In this regard, Banque Misr affirms its full support for its branches in the United Arab Emirates, a nation with which the Bank has close ties, and its commitment to fully safeguarding its clients’ rights and interests. The Bank also affirms its continued full cooperation with all relevant regulatory authorities
