This certification was granted by SWTUV, an internationally recognized leader in testing, inspection, and auditing. It is accredited by the Egyptian General Organization for Standardization and Quality. Notably, Banque Misr's Legal Sector was the first to obtain this certificate in 2022 among all legal departments within the banking sector across Africa and the Middle East, and it remains the sole sector to hold it for four consecutive years.
Furthermore, Banque Misr's Legal Sector has, for the first time in its history, obtained the ISO 31022:2020 certificate in Legal Risk Management from SWTUV. Banque Misr's Legal Sector is the first to secure this certification among legal departments in banks and financial institutions across Africa and the Middle East, underscoring its commitment to advancing institutional performance and bolstering compliance with regulations and laws.
Such recognition of Banque Misr's Legal Sector with these two certifications is a testament to the comprehensive work undertaken by all its departments and units throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt. This achievement follows a thorough audit and review by the awarding body, which confirmed that all internal policies and procedures within the Legal Sector's units align with internationally approved standards and principles for global management systems.
