Building on Bank Misr's commitment to supporting the state's efforts in achieving financial inclusion and aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development, the bank offered numerous free benefits and promotions on the occasion of "Farmer's Day" under the patronage of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). This stems from the bank's belief in the importance of financial inclusion for enabling all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their various needs, including savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit.
The bank is keen to provide many free benefits and promotions that serve all customers, especially women and youth, as they constitute the largest segments of society, throughout the duration of the event, which runs from September 1st to September 15th, 2025. These include: opening current and savings accounts (individual) with an exemption from account opening fees, the minimum balance requirement, and stamp duty fees (Normal and Islamic current and savings accounts in EGP, El-Mongez current and savings accounts - Normal and Islamic, Youth Accounts, El-Momken Savings Account, and Hawalati EGP/USD Current Account). This is in addition to the possibility of issuing a free Meeza instant debit card for the accounts, and the possibility of obtaining a Meeza prepaid card exempted from issuance fees. Customers aged 15 to 21 can open accounts for free and receive a free BM instant debit card as part of the Youth Program. Upon subscribing to the Bank Misr electronic wallet (BM Wallet) and activating it, customers will receive a 20% refund on the first financial transaction during the event period, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. Bank employees will also be present outside the branches in various gathering places across the Arab Republic of Egypt during the event to promote the bank's products and services.
Bank Misr is considered one of the pioneering banks that contributed to financial literacy and inclusion since its launch in Egypt in 2014. The bank is always keen to participate in all initiatives and campaigns launched by the Central Bank of Egypt, especially campaigns supporting financial inclusion, as well as supporting women by providing diverse financial services and empowering entrepreneurs who own micro-projects, which contributes significantly to supporting the Egyptian economy and raising the standard of living for individuals.
